Hey everyone!

I have recently gotten my hands on my grandpa's old New Holland S-14 a little while back. It had been sitting in a tree line and looked to be in rough shape. Although, I have managed to get the motor running with a little rewiring and replacing the starter solenoid plus the key switch. The problem though is that I had to use an external fuel tank. My fuel tank is severely rusted on the bottom to the point where there are multiple pin holes and one bigger rust hole. Is there any fix for this? where can I get another metal tank? I know that Ariens bought the garden tractor line from New Holland but the gas tank was changed. Does anybody have a fix or know where I can get one? Anybody willing to sell one?

Thanks!

Ben Olsufka

An old-time radiator shop may be able to fix it. It looks far gone though.

The other alternatives are to find a similar size tank from some other application or to just have a new tank made. But a new tank will be expensive if you pay someone to make it.

if its installed someplace not terribly visible on the tractor with all covers and hood in place, you may also be able to put a smaller good tank inside the rusted out shell.
