New Holland and Deere were off brand balers here in the 70's and 80's.

224 and 228 MF balers were the last of that era.

Almost everyone ran MF then. Today would be a completely different story and I'd agree now it's NH or Deere for those running small squares.

I went to the farm sale but I didn't end up buying either baler. Will keep looking around but am not in a hurry (hay season for us is not until Oct/Nov).
