I've been on the 127 Yard Sale again. I picked up an Oliver 880 with a Carter corn picker customized to look like an Oliver number 4. Pretty nice unit for the price.

Mounted pickers are one of my favorite toys. I enjoy watching videos of real mounted pickers in action. Last winter I decided to build my own Oliver picker. I sold. One of these days I'm going to build me another one. This time I'll kept it.

Super nice job. If I had that kind of skill,I wouldn't have to buy them. I had two real number 4 pickers back in the early and mid 70s. I bought an 88 diesel with one on it,then bought a better one a year or two later. I used them on the 77 gas mostly.
