Bleeding a 2630 Fuel System

I'm in need of some rather urgent help! I foolishly ran my 2630 out of fuel yesterday ... just made it to the fuel storage tank, but not soon enough. Now, of course, it won't restart, so I assume I must purge air from the fuel system. Never done this before so I'm wondering if anyone is willing to scan and post the relevant pages from a 2630 Operator Manual that detail the specific steps for bleeding the fuel system?

PS: Yes, I have now ordered a 2630 Operator Manual off eBay, but it won't ship until Tuesday and probably won't get here until a week from now!

Open bleeder screw on fuel filter housing,pump lever on fuel transfer pump until air free fuel appears, tighten bleed screw pull throttle down 1/2 way & try to start engine. If no resistance is felt when pumping fuel pump lever rotate engine slightly to get camshaft lobe to move from pressing on internal lever on FP. It's possible you might have to loosen fuel line that supplies inj pump to purge air. This will be determined by how many times you attempted to start engine after it ran out of fuel. Some inj pumps have bleeder screws one can loosen but I can't remember if 2630 IP has this screw or not .

You may need to add another step after completing Tx Jim's steps if it doesn't start.

You may need to loosen the fuel injector lines, from the injector pump, at the injector ends. With them loose, crank the engine until you get fuel coming out of them, then tighten.

The Standadyne injection pump is self-bleeding so there is on specific-built bleeder anywhere. If you want to speed up the bleeding process, just crack some lines loose. That and any bleeder screw or screws you might have on the filter.

Gotta agree with Jim on this one. Best method I've found to bleed these tractors is to open the bleeder on the filter and use the hand pump to purge the air. Then crack open each injector line at the injectors and crank it over till you see fuel. As each line shows fuel tighten it up and crank until all show fuel. It'll start then. Good Luck!
