I hope you've been able to get some meds from your MD by now. Gout is not always caused by your diet. Mine was from Thiazide diuretics (water pills). By changing my diuretic and a daily Allopurinol tab. I did have Indomethicin (anti-inflamatory) and Colchicine to take when I still had flair-ups, but can't take those now because of gastritis. If you don't have prescriptions I found Naproxen helped. The online food do's and don'ts contradict each other. Mainly stay away from food with high purines.

Stress will trigger it. Hard to tie it to a specific food in my case. Stop it fast at first hint. Starts like a sore muscle or twisted toe, gets worse fast. Take a couple Colcycine quick, one more a few hour later. Tylenol helps. Get a doctors prescription and keep it for flares.
