I'm not actually sure if his IH 5-18 had that setting. He would have known for sure and would have done what you said. He passed in early '14, equipment was sold in '17 if I recall. I have photos of this plow in my field, I thought it did an excellent job. He told me he'd get 50 acres out of those welded on shares. They held up in these rocky soils too. I had never seen this done before and he was one that took good care of his equipment.

Will you plant this Fall or can you wait until next Spring after the freeze/thaw cycles mellow it out?

My field will be corn silage next spring. Frost will change my world

He was, a farmers farmer so to speak. He planted the ground here for many years, I enjoyed working with him and helping him out wherever needed.
