I currently have 4210 cylinder heads on a basically stock MM G pulling motor except that is bored .060. I have found some 4206 heads that I can put on it. Would anyone know if that would make much difference
in hp. Run ok? Thanks! Different cam instead for more hp gain?

Will have to use higher octane fuel. Possibly retard timing a bit.

Thanks for the advise. I'll stay with what I have. Can you or anyone recommend someone who builds a pulling cam that will work with my 414 cubic G engine? I'm guessing I run about 30% or so over factory rpm.

I would recommend staying with the stock cam and degree it in. Original 403 cam is good at 1200 rpm. When you get near 2000, advancing valve timing has benefits. Need to get valves opening sooner to breathe better. Just as advancing ignition Is needed at higher rpm, valve timing is also important.
