It's not the one you are asking about here but we are working on #135 at the moment. Probably not on your list.

Thank you! Actually I do have that one. I know that as the Cochran tractor. Is this you or did you purchase it from them? I don't recognize the screen name. Thanks and looking forward to hearing back from you!

No, this is not Jack's tractor. This one has been stashed in an old dirt floor garage for the last 45 years or so. If I heard correctly, yours originated from the Cobbs family. This one was in the same general area too.

Could you post a picture of your tractor or maybe send me an email? Your tractor has me very interested/confused. LoL Is your tractor actually a B2 Junior or B2 Senior? Does it have a four-cylinder Continental or a six cylinder Chrysler engine in it? My grandpa had both a B2 junior and B2 senior. My brother has his junior now and my uncle has the senior. The Senior is the one that come from the Cobbs family and its serial number is 560.Jack s tractor is a junior with the number 135. However we have not found any duplicate numbers of both a junior and senior and we do know that they went down the assembly line together so we are under the understanding that the juniors are just thrown in the mix with the seniors so therefore there shouldn t be any duplicates. If yours is indeed a junior with the number 135 then I would have to believe that either something accidental happened at the factory or one of the numbers on either tractor have been missread. Looking forward to hearing back from you!

This is indeed a Jr. Has the Silver King rear end and 4 cyl engine. I can't personally confirm the serial number as the frame rails were stolen by scrap thieves 10 years ago. But the owner at the time kept meticulous records and had every serial number to everything he owned since the 60's. He had 135 as the number of this one. He passed almost 4 years ago too. So I guess we will have to verify Jack's number to know for certain. The hard part was the front casting was taken too. Everybody told me it was the same as a B2, but I found out the hard way that it is not the same. But I have that resolved so progress can continue. My email should be open. Send me yours if you want and I can send pics.

sorry to be late into the conversation. I can confirm Cochran's B2JR is serial number 135 as we (Dad "Jack" and I are getting ready to put the motor back in it when it gets back from engine shop. i have photographs of the serial number and i would be glad to share. We have had this tractor for better part of 30 years.
Thanks anything we can do to help let us know
Mark
