I asked on Tractor Talk about posting videos. Responders said create a You Tube, then link it to YT. I don't know how (and don't really want to know how) to do You Tube stuff. Is there another way here on YT? Thanks.

You can upload a video directly using the photo upload on the posting form. It will embed the necessary command into the post.

The downside to this is that the video must be 7.5MB or less. This is good for doing a short video, like my "First Start" video I uploaded after rebuilding a tractor last year. You can also use video editing software to make a longer video fit in a small file (changing resolution, editing out all dead space, and other tricks).

Basically, we don't have the storage to keep long videos in their entirety. For example, if it's a "tour of your farm", it's going to be a 1/2 hour and the size is beyond what we can keep for the number of people who would upload such videos. But for real short video clips, e.g., "Here is the sound my engine making" or "Here I am coming off the line at Sunday's pull", it works adequately.
