My brother in law had one very close to that one,he pulled it with G John Deere,he came and chopped for my dad in 56 or 57 with it,and it was used then! But he needed fuel every three hours !!

The 200 Series came in 1955 and was made through 1964 with several models being made,, the 212 was a later added model,, the 300 replaced the 200 Series in 1965

I looked and found the 212 model came in 1959 only diff is the number of knives

Have a 64 buyer's guide here with the flambeau 212...have a couple here. The 66 buyer's guide has the 300 series chopper. Can't find my 65 bg but my son bought a 212 last fall like the one Jon found. It has a different pull hitch and pto assembly than my flambeau cutters. I assume the two tone up-graded 212 came in 65 and the 300 in 66.

You may sure be correct,, I was thinking the 300 lit I have was dated 65 but like you I have not dug hard enough to find it I need to have it all in a rack in order lol I will do some looking

It must off been a 200 series then,and the more i think of it had to be 56, because my sister drove the truck along side and she got married in 57. But it did a nice job! Thanks
