Just not the ones some of us expected to. Sorry RBnSC, Richard G, and others. Tough to play in the Home Stadium.

Life long Clemson fan here, LSU was the better team. Hats off to the whole team and especially to the QB. He's going pro.....clemson will be back on top next year! I think Dabo is a class act, and it shows through his players. Too often the losers run off the field. It was refreshing to see the Clemson players take time to congratulate the LSU guys.

Most of the tickets go to corporate sponsors and politicians so very few are actually sold.

Yesterday was Inauguration Day for our governor. The traditional party after the inauguration was canceled so they could head to the game. President was even in town for the game.

With that said the local radio was reporting tickets on reselling sites were from $1k to $7k each.

Clemson will be there again next year. I think they said over 70% of the kids are freshmen or sophomores.

Kind of sad the best player in college has to go to the worst team in the NFL.

NFL makes the rules for their league no one has to play there if they don't want to,players can always go to Canada and play for about 1/10 the money of they want.He better get all he can while he is in demand,a few bad games and his stock can drop in a hurry. No one in the NFL cares what you did in college.

Here is the rule in someone's own words ..... happens in the NHL now and then, Eric Lindross being the last big name I can think of that refused to go to the team that drafted him. Here's someone's NFL answer ... obviously there has to be some kind of a rule otherwise it would be pretty wild .....

The player does not have to sign any contract the drafting team lays before them, but that team owns the right to sign the player, and so that player cannot sign for anyone else for the first year. If that player refuses to report, the team can decide to trade those signing rights to another team, and the process starts over again with that team. If the player does not sign with anyone at all, he is automatically re-entered into the draft the next year, and again, and again each year he does not sign, until a year passes where he is not drafted, thereby becoming an un-drafted free agent, or until he actually signs.

There is always more than one way to skin a cat.
Take the manning brothers. Dad went in before the draft and had everything pre arranged so his boys did not have to play for the worst team in the league.

TF, your spot on and I bet Cincinattis money will spend the same as any other team. I bet this kid don't balk at whatever shot he is given, I bet he makes the best of it, he is a franchise maker.
