I'm looking at a International McCormick B250 with two metal weights per rear wheel and a FEL. How much would it weigh?

Isn't that the weight of the tractor only, not FEL as well? I've seen that the tractor only weighs 3400lbs, add 300 for the weights, + loader.

The B250 has a belt pulley as well!!

My guess with B250 with loader, weights, canopy close to 5,000 lbs, if there is fluid in the tire then more.

Thanks for that! Is it a rare thing to have a belt pulley? It is sitting in a scrap metal yard, apparently it ran when he sold it, but a bearing was gone in the gearbox. What loader is it? It seems to be a standard style loader for these 250's and 275's. They will weigh it for me maybe today, more likely next week. I'd like to see what I can do with it, and if it IS scrap I can pull off any good bits and sell it back!

IIRC the loader model number is B-901, neighbor had a B250 and I drove it several times, we had B414D and 434 with IH 1501 loader on it and later 384 with IH 1550 loader.

BTW MJ in UK is an expert on those Bradford UK built tractors.

Good Luck

I believe that they are to give added protection, to keep the tractor farther off the ground in case of a roll. I have one I am selling, and it is Belcher brand. I think that was just how they were built.
