Is it possible the file or files together exceed the 7MB posting limit. On a phone, each file will nowadays be 4MB or larger. I'll post one here to be sure it is working.

I have not tested it for a couple of years, but we did test it up to about 7MB since some of the photo buffs on the site make very high resolution photos. I believe it cut off about 7.5MB.

If you were to post the two you mentioned together, that would be too much. It would about 10MB. It's the total size of all photos and text posted. In that case, you have to post one, then either preview the post (only works in Modern) then add another one, or just do multiple posts. You can do many large ones together in a single post that way.
