I have a 67 JD 2510 Diesel I got from my dad. He was the second owner & a few years ago had the alternator rebuilt & batteries. Then it had a few other issues to fix before we could start using it again.. the batteries tested bad so we put a new set on it. The question I have is... did the guy that rebuilt the alternator connect the regulator up correctly? The gen light stays on even with the key off & im seeing the regulator connected 2 different ways.
