New to me 1959 TO35 diesel. Runs approximately 1 minute after you get it started then quits. Bled all fuel lines and looks to have plenty fuel getting to injectors when you loosen those lines and turn the ignition on. Fyi.. manual fuel pump has been replaced with an electric fuel pump. Tractor run smooth when running but it only runs for a minute. |

Diesels don't run too well on air. Cracked line? Fuel filter housing? "O'ring? Water separator? |

Thanks for the help. I'm in the process of tracing all the lines. Got some ugly looking fittings with a little fuel around top of them. |

Remove the line from the filter at the pump the one at the back of the pump turn on the electric pump and see if you have a good flow. |

I have a FE35, the British built version of the TO35, with a 23C diesel engine. I have had fuel flow problems, when cracking a fuel line at an injector shows fuel flow, but it did not start, this was due to
insufficient flow. I have learnt to check the whole fuel line, the favourite spots for a problem are dirt clogging the metal gauze filter on top of the sediment bowl and a clogged basket gauze filter at the
inlet into the injector pump, this latter filter is not shown in either my workshop manual or my parts book! Once the line is clear, there is sufficient flow and the tractor starts and runs. |

Thanks for the info. The mesh filter in the back of injector fuel line fitting is clear but the fitting is not in good shape. It has an electric fuel ( replaced mechanical pump) looks to be supplying enough fuel but not sure. |
