Was hoping not. None of my parts tractors have Charlyn. All have updated to Grescen. Never got ahold of guy about solenoid. PH #
not in service. |

Well we tried!! According to my 707---708 Parts book switch from Charlyn to Wooster to Vickers.

Did MM offer upgrade to Grescen in early 60's? All around here were switched. Dad got a M5 in 67-8 and it had been modded. Have had
10 or more in that time and no Charlyn. Remember here all E type. |

GB; Yes i am talking about Type E. I have no idea about the conversion. I have a GVI, 705, 707 But they were picked up used. There weren't any sold around me new. My GVI amd 705 both have the Char-lynn. Don't know what the 707 has never had the seat off.

You are right they do leak when they get worn. I have tried to reseal with quad rings, but that didn't hold either. Was going to try U rings next.
