1210(1212) Case vs 770 Case

I have ran a 1210 case (powershift) in the past. I have the opportunity to buy a 770 Case. In terms of HP they are virtually identical (Diesel models). What is the better more handy tractor? Pros and cons for each. Thanks

I guess that depends on what you need one to do,, a 1210/1212 is a Great utility work tractor, the 770 will pull more than they will though as shear pulling power though as its a bigger and heavier unit,, I have put many thousands of hours on both,, we also sold both New, only thing I really feel one out shines the other in is climbing on on them, the 770 is taller but has a flat deck operators station and no shifters between your legs,, so I will say more creature comfort with the 770, where the 1212 will have 4 power shift gears but three ranges gives more power shift choices in each range but then you have one less range to chose from so no a huge change there, the 1210/1212 also will turn a bit tighter circle but again not much difference there, both have 540/1000 rpm pto speeds but only the 770 has both shafts,, the 770 is also a cooler unit to run as far as machine generated heat when under heavy loads such as pto work,, the 770 also sits the operator higher up so less dirt and dust in some conditions,, I also like the ride better on the 770 a bit better than the 1210/1212,, either one are good units so to me it is going to take what your plan to do with them and your personal choice of what you feel is the better unit

I would say that these are total different tractors beside HP.
A 770 provide much more comfort for the operator where a DB1212 is more 'spartan'. One pro for the DB1212 is that they are rather cheap to maintain, at least at this side of the pond.
I would say, if budget is thight, i'd take a DB1212. If comfort is more important to you, go for a Case 770.
