painted JD 60 tractor paint looks great. painted hood and other parts looked good when done. next day all the paint had little bubble all over. what happened

It must be the moisture. Did you use a primer? You're gonna have to sand it to remove the blisters.

Probably one minor issue amongst many which could have fouled you up. Did you use a specific paint system and follow their directions? Did you thoroughly prep the job and properly prime. Did you clean with Prep-Sol or equivalent? Was the surface dry when you topcoated? Was the paint and the job warm, - about 60 - 75 degrees when you topcoated? Did you reduce the enamel as specified? Did you use hardener? For achieving a great paint job there may be several processes and if you miss one detail, it can ruin the job. Then you start over.

How many coats did you put on that day? Sometimes if you put too much paint on without sufficient drying time it will accumulate vapors under the finish and cause bubbles. Some paints if you don't thin it enough it will do that. It dries over the surface while still being wet underneath and causes vapors to make bubbles. Only fix is to allow it to dry completely. Occasionally the bubbles will go away but more often than not you have to sand it level and paint it again.

Did not use a primer. Did not have a filter on my comp. Shop temp. was 55 to 60 painted tractor out side have measuring cups for each produce. thanks for the help.
