I have decided to do a rebuild this summer of my late model 95. It is a corn special and we have been having problems with the variable speed cylinder drive slipping when harvesting corn. The 105 has the same problem and many others have told me this is the weak spot on these machines. I found some parts machines in MN that do not have the variable speed but have a chain drive cylinder. We almost never change speed for corn or soybeans (usually run 450 rpm's) so this is the route we are going to go. Would like to find an assortment of sprockets so we could have the option of changing speeds. The only other option might be to find different sprockets (which I haven't found yet) for the variable speed cylinder. With factory sprockets you can go from 400 rpm's to a little over 1000 rpm's. There were different sprockets to make the top speed around 700 rpm's. I am still in the thinking stage and plan to start gathering parts soon. Will post pics as we get into it. Tom

I have one sprocket from a 55, I think it is the smaller one. It has been hanging on the barn wall since the machine left. Probably 20 years ago. Nathan
