I though yall might like to see my paint can engine tester. Its a 1 quart paint can housing an 8n starter solenoid, a momentary switch and a magneto kill switch. Simply hook up the battery and ground it to a starter bolt then big black wire to starter and little black line to the magneto and there ya go, enough harness to run a half put together tractor.

Looks like a neat deal, I assume the solenoid is bolted to the bottom of the can.

Yep. The idea being everything grounds to the can then the top wire to the positive post

Just have to make sure things go right when you are hooking it up as far as negative or positive ground. Probably just run everything negative ground if you have magnetos. I got the idea it would be nice to have if you are a tractor finder like Grandpa Love.
