I decided to build a coil for my 4 HP Galloway and settled on this style after much experimenting with wire size & length of coil to get the 5-6 Ohms. It works great. I've built 67 since and sold them on ebay.

I forgot to say it's 4-1/2 long by 2-1/2 wide and 2-3/4 tall.

Looks nothing like my Ford Model T coil!
