I make cables and have a hydraulic cable crimper. I figured those cable ends were soldered under the shrink tube. Good looking cables!

solder on ends and then use big shrink
tubing. You can buy ends in lefts, rights
and straights.

Where can these ends be found?

NAPA has all the cable ends. Ask to look at their Belden book. They are also available online from many different sellers.

I use sealed 925 CCA Size 31 (27 but with 3/8 studded terminals centered rather than to one side). Saves me about 50 bucks a
battery for a premium battery and get the stud posts as a benefit. I get them at the OTR truck dealer for $ 78...just bought a couple
for my trolling motor batteries. Made for OTR service and assiciated vibration. They make/repair cables too.

We have a group 24F in our 3000 diesel. It has been starting it well for years and is not so tall as to short out on the bottom side of the hood. Cut a piece of 2x6 to lay in battery tray in front of battery for a spacer. Hold 2x6 in with two long zip ties. The 24F posts are reversed left and right compared to the group 24.

I also like the idea of a group 65. They are a good long lasting battery.
