Just getting around to repainting my 10-1 Prior plow. What color would the coulters, tail wheel, & any other parts have originally been, or is it all red? I couldn't find a pic in any of my literature.
Thanks!!

The usual way that Dearborn and Ford implements came was that the frames were red (later blue) and the all the wear parts were black.

ALL Dearborn & FORD Implements were painted the 8N Vermillion Red. The closet brand made today is the TISCO 110 IH RED, very FORD RED made is too orangey. I don't know about wear parts being black. I have some original 16mm films of the early 9N with the FORD Dark Grey scheme on tractor and implements and a later 8N one with several dozen Dearborn implements and none show a black part. Many fellas go with a Silver Argent/metallic shade on wear parts like coulters, jointers, and moldboards as they simulate bare metal better.

I forgot to include that the Dearborn/Ford Vermilion was used on the tractors and implements until 1962 when FORD revamped the color scheme to off-white and Empire Blue.
