Hoping a few of you Funk owners can tell me if my 2 1/4" diameter by 3/4" wide belt look's like yours. The other pulleys use a 5/8" belt.

8NChris ,The belt and all pulleys should be 5/8" wide.The alternator pulley in your pic looks to be 5/8" wide not 3/4"

Unless it's an optical illusion, that Alt. pulley looks shot to me. Mine is still a generator, but
is 5/8.

Yer alt pulley is worn slap arse out, it started life as the wrong pulley it was for a 3/4" belt what you need is in the link...

Yes the alternator pulley is mostly worn from being used in the wrong application and the water pump pulley isn't in the best shape either. The GM alternator is being replaced with a 12 volt generator and 5/8" pulley. I didn't know if Funk used a stamped steel or cast iron pulley, I take it the pulley was not changed from the original N Series design?

I would say you are right to think that.

For a 12V unknown gen I dunno what pulley you need : (...
