Not without a lot of work !
Like cutting and welding, etc.
The QA-36a was meant for a IH built Cub Cadet up to 1981.
After that MTD had their cost cutting bean counters changing things.
Your 1641 came around 1992.

Ethania:

The snowblowers that fit the 1641 are:
* 190-451-100
* 190-551-100

ADVERTISE your QA-36 in the free classified ads on IH Cub Cadet.com. There's still guys looking for them, especially if they are in nice shape.
I got tired of getting covered in snow every time I cleared the driveway. One winter I had a truck driving job nights, and was off days till about 3-4 PM. One week we had a couple snows, got my #72 Cub Cadet with 10 hp engine and QA-36 on out and cleaned my driveway, seemed like a good idea to do the neighbor's so his wife could get to the garage, and while I was there did the next neighbor's drive.
Saturday I'm watching TV about 2 PM and the doorbell rings. Neighbor from 2 doors down, Thanking me for cleaning his driveway, even had a gas can with 2-3 gallons of gas, and nicely asked me to leave his snow alone! He had a brand new Deere tractor and snow blower sitting in his garage he wanted to run.

I can understand his thinking. I may have done the same thing.
