Bought our "1031" back the other day. We are thinking she has between 10-15,000 hours currently, As we overhauled the engine for the customer in 1974 as he was nervous about the hours(5000hours 1974).

She hasn't had a easy life since she left, although her last owner did take pretty good care of her.

Guess her life will be secure now, amazing isn't it, my Dad sold her Oct of 1966(new),and even with abuse and hard work, she is still going.

Enclosed is a picture of her at her former owners.

Looks pretty good for her age. So your family owned this tractor when it was new?

Looks like a Farm King snowblower on back. I wouldn't mind something like that for my snowblower.

Yea, the former owner still owns the 960 blower, but did tell me he never broke a shear pin on the 960 with the "1031"

Actually it was sold new without a cab in 1966, but in 1974 we put it on for the second customer, from another "1031" that was on the lot.
The cab is a jobber (YearAround) actually its already off, as it was junk

Ande,

Glad to see you could bring the 1030 home again. It looks pretty decent. I can hardly wait to get ours home from the neighbor and start cleaning it up and using it (if Spring ever comes). Don

Looks good and big 38" Firestone rear rubber. This is my '66 after removing the exact same cab and before it was painted.

Both 1030's look nice and strait. Usually the tie rods are bent around here. Agree, looks good with 38" Firestones.

I bought mine in 1998, 3rd owner. Last owner was very abusive twords the old girl. After I rebuilt half the tractor it's still serving me well with 8900+ hours on it. Mine was a factory cab tractor with 23.1-30's and was sent to the Racine company store.

I have a 1030,930, 730, and we are rebuilding a 830. I just love to use these 30 series tractors. Truly under valued in the martket to day. Bruce
