The #s for PPG that I use are Flambeau Red 71282 and Desert Sunset 81357. Don't know if any one on here has tried SW's 3rd Dimension line or not but I like it better than the PPG. The PPG does not cover very well when using the Flambeau, or not for me at least. I have been tinting the primer to help but still takes way to many coats. Lee |

What line of PPG are you using? More than one line is available under the PPG umbrella. Coverage has never been an issue with any of the PPG lines I have ever sprayed in the 71282 Flambeau Red. |

Have used both Omni and Concept. Was not satisfied with either one really. It seems to have to much of a yellow tint to it, but will finally go away after several coats. Have tried spraying the coats just as they tack off and have pushed the window on the long side giving it more cure time. Does not seem to make any difference. The color will come out okay in the end but most times we are putting 5-6 coats to get it there. Lee |
