Will I went and save the shredder from going to China ...
It looks complete and the drum is in great condition ,, tires are gone and missing a belt .. drive shaft is complete w/the shield .... the hammers are needing help ...
I'm sure I will find more when I get to redoing it so I can used it behind my La ..

I liked the way they mowed better than a rotary cutter, if you was cutting young saplings it would shatter the stub and wouldn't puncture a tire.

Back in the 60's the local welding shop used to rent a Case shredder out that looked a lot like that one. If I remember right it took two 38" rows of corn stalks and 2nd gear was about as fast as the 630 Deere could pull it.Jim

spent many hours pulling one of these as a kid with a dc. always fun to get going without live pto. spent many nights with a heathouser and just one headlight.
