I was reading earlier posts about this fluid issue. I now have more fluid in the rear than in the torque tube. The blade did leak down. I took off the plate and took the piston out. The manual says to replace the piston rings and seal. How can I know if these are bad, they look ok. I know there is a fluid leak but not sure what is causing it.

Triple range 430, serial # 8238266.

Thanks for any suggestions or info.

Bob if your 3pt stays up over night then the piston seal is good, if you look at the post with the pictures of the pto seal that will be your next move, that post also has the part number. I got 2 new seals from napa for about $20.

Hi. Thanks for the info. The 3pt let down in about an hour. I an going to start repairs by replacing the seals on the piston. Ordered some parts from the dealer. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks again. Bob
