I'm looking at a 1957 super 77. The panel on the left side and the battery cover are missing. Are these hard to find or do they make reproductions? It looks to be in good shape other than missing pieces. Has power steering, good tires and rims. Needs paint. Asking price is $1500 obo. Is that a fair price? I don't know much about Oliver's.

Gas or diesel. For 1957 Oliver made a lot of little changes. One of those changes would be the battery cover.1957 models should have a specification number on the serial number tag that starts with 27 instead of 17. Post a serial number as well. What options other than power steering does the tractor have A 1957 Super 77 is a good tractor.

It's a gas, serial number 54943-702. It has two hydraulic outlets. No three point.
