Does anyone remember if the Case VAC-14 has LIVE PTO in a 1954 model? I owned the last one during 1959 and I simply do not remember but I do not remember that my VAC had live PTO.

Thanks,

I have one of these tractors and it does not have live PTO. I have to pull a lever behind the seat in order to engage the PTO. I don't know if it was an option at that time, however. Others here will have to confirm that detail for you.

Was not available on the VA series. Was an option on the small # series that followed. They using a hand clutch that interrupted the power to the transmission but allowed the PTO to continue running. Lee
