Is there still a Preston Equipment or Machinery a John Deere Dealer in Preston Mn? My JD 4000 came from there at one time. I just always wandered about that. It was supposed to have been used on a feed wagon somewhere up there, I got it from northern IA tractor jockey, he bought it from a dealer in MN, but I don"t know if it was Preston or not. I have had it several years now and it has 10,700 hrs on it, engine never touched but Trans redone at one time (syncro-range), It has been a great tractor, still is. By the way, I bought it after it was advertised on this site!

Preston Equipment is still in business and is one of the few that has not joined up with SEMA. one of the last independent family owned dealerships in the area. it is located on hwy 52.

I think the one tractorbafoon was thinking of is in spring valley, which is part of sema equip.
