Does any one have plans for setting a drill press up with a switch so as to be able to run the motor in reverse or forward direction.

The reversing switch should have a wiring diagram for that particular switch. IDK if just any motor would work.

If it's single phase, you'll need an instant reversing motor, otherwise you'll have to wait for it to coast to a stop before it will reverse.

The drum switch will have a diagram.

Are you in need of constantly being able to reverse it, or could you get by with a twist in the belt to change rotation?
