Im farming alfalfa with my case 801b. Always contracted cutting/bailing.
Can I run a gehl 1460 4x5 800 pound rounds?
Will my hydraulic system be strong enough for tying/ ejecting
Also, I have tricycle set up. Bought a wide front to swap out, but wondering if I can just bail the alfafa tim grass mix with the tri.
Will the hay get crushed/wet? |

Switch to a wide front. When the hay dries running it over will knock the leaves off and that's the nutrients. I use my 530 to now and my 801 to bale, works good but you need to keeps the throttle up. |

Frozen as in wheels won't turn? Pivots froze? Or tubes won't slide? If the wheels won't turn there's needle bearings in the verticle spindles that may be dry or rusty. |

The wheels spin free. But I cant move the linkage, or the pivots/
tubes.
How should I attack it? |

I'd try getting some solvent and grease onto the spindles first. Dried grease responds very well to PB Blaster. Shoot it in with a grease gun. |
