What are the major differences between these 2? Cannot find a service manual for my MF90,but can find several for a Super 90. Is it only an engine difference? I need to get in the clutch pack/hydraulics.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I am not aware that there is such a thing as a plain MF 90. The Super 90 was preceded by the 85.

The model states "MF90" and nothing more. If in fact it was a Super 90, wouldn'
t it state that on the model plate? Canadian made tractor maybe?

from what I found the mf 88 replaced the mf 85. It was a western/wheatland version. The mf 90/super 90 replaced the mf 88. The mf 90 and super 90 are the same tractor. I found this on previous post but could not find serial number info on tractor data.com.

Massey Ferguson Model MF-90 and Super 90
Year
Starting Serial Number

1962 810000
1963 813170
1964 816113
1965 819342

I also found this info but haven't heard of mf90 WR
Massey Ferguson Model MF-90WR and Super

1962 885010

The 90 IS the Super 90, all one and the same, as explained to me by Bill Corbin, my old friend, mentor, and Massey guru, now deceased. gm

MF 88 did not replace the 85, they were both made in years 1959, 1960, and 1961. The 88 was the western model. The S90WR replaced the 88.
