Long story short. 6 volt system. Last week I started my M to drag some logs, it ran about 2 minutes and died. It cranked once and fired but didn't run. Then it
wouldn't crank, dead. It was getting gas and had a spark (electronic ignition). Battery tested good. I ordered a starter switch from Y.T. I installed it,
tractor is starting easy and running well. My question----can a bad starter switch cause a running tractor to quit or is this just a coincidence and something
else might be wrong also? Ellis

Yer power to the tractor is on one terminal so I would suspect bad connections which you cleaned and tightened when putting the switch in.
