Don't have a super c but in my cub, H, and
Super M. Use rotella 15 40 detergent. I
make sure I use 30w non detergent in the
air filter though. Reason being is I have
been told the non detergent oil let's the
dirt settle to the bottom of the cup where
a detergent oil holds the dirt n dust in
suspension.

Not sure about that one......I use the rotella-t in the cleaner cup.

The oil is always clean with the dirt on the bottom.

This is the same thing my local IH service manager told me about the air cleaners.

Using non-detergent oil is not recommended. The two main reasons that today's engines run 3 times as long as in the 50s. 15-30 Quality oil is recommended. Jim

You can use any oil you like, but you may need to add a little zinc additive or use diesel oil (Rotella
or other) to protect the cam and lifters. If you do use non-detergent oil you should remove the oil pan
and clean out the crud that settles out. I find it much easier to use a good diesel oil.
