Don't have a super c but in my cub, H, and
Super M. Use rotella 15 40 detergent. I
make sure I use 30w non detergent in the
air filter though. Reason being is I have
been told the non detergent oil let's the
dirt settle to the bottom of the cup where
a detergent oil holds the dirt n dust in
suspension. |

Not sure about that one......I use the rotella-t in the cleaner cup.
The oil is always clean with the dirt on the bottom. |

This is the same thing my local IH service manager told me about the air cleaners.

Using non-detergent oil is not recommended. The two main reasons that today's engines run 3 times as long as in the 50s. 15-30 Quality oil is recommended. Jim |

You can use any oil you like, but you may need to add a little zinc additive or use diesel oil (Rotella
or other) to protect the cam and lifters. If you do use non-detergent oil you should remove the oil pan
and clean out the crud that settles out. I find it much easier to use a good diesel oil.
