I found a guy who has a cultivator, plow,
and blade (hopefully a 54A) for sale. He
doesn't know anything about them. He said
they came with his Cub when he bought it. He
only wants $250 for all three implements.
What do I need to look for with the blade
and cultivator? Is there a serial tag on the
blade or any markings that I can be certain
it's a 54A? I know that there's a bunch of
parts that go with the cultivators but is
there anything that I need to make sure I
have? Are there any parts that are hard to
come by if they are missing? My Cub has the
touch control.

Thanks
Jeff

Look for the spring rods that lift the cultivators, they run anywhere from 45 to 80 each. The breaking plow look for the depth control lever. Most folks that don't know much about em.think they are the manual lift lever but they are different. They run about 100 to 150 for just the lever. For that price I would go for it no matter what. But this way it gives ya an idea what your gettin into. Those blades are not a science to em. If you don't have something ya need they are very easy to build parts for if you or a freind is handy with a welder. With the cultivator just look for the front and rear lift spring rods but if not there I would buy it anyway. They can be bought in.multiple places just a little pricey.
