2940 John Deere, injector pump

I have fuel coming out of the top of the injector pump one leak is where the throttle is attached the other is where the kill is attached. How do I fix this?

The leaks you describe is the "messenger" It is trying to tell you the age and condition of your drive seals. You can remove the cover and replace the throttle shaft n kill shaft o rings. This will buy a little time, but you are playing a game with a loaded gun. When,, not if, the drive shaft seals fail you will start dumping fuel into the crank case. If you catch it in time you will need pump work. If you dont catch it in time you need a engine mechanic. If it was my tractor I would send it off for a reseal job. This isnt a lot of money, and you will have to get it done in time anyway. A reseal job should cost 350-450 bucks. This is way less than engine work so I figure it money well spent. Call around to pump guys and ask questions. Anyone who gives you a really high price walk away from. If their price is Cheap Ask more questions. To get a good job done right takes time, witch is money. So cheap means skipping over something. Ask about warranties and turn around time. What good is a good price with no guarantee it will work right, and for how long? What if you send it in and it takes 4 weeks? A few min. on the phone will make you feel better about who you pick. Agree 100% with AL, it's best in the long run to have the pump completely gone through. While the leaks you have now could be fixed on the tractor, too many times I've seen other leaks show up soon after. That's why I refuse to do top cover seals only, just bites you on the backside later. Head seal, drive seals are about to give up and leak soon anyway..
