The transmission is a separate compartment from the rear axle/hydraulics... but you use 134D or its equivalent in both...

If the loader is run off of a front mounted pump with its own sump, then you can use any kind of hydraulic fluid you want. If it's driven by the tractor's 3 point hydraulics then it needs to meet the 134D specification. Even if the loader has a separate pump & sump, most folks feel it's easier to just keep one kind of fluid in stock, so most use 134D there as well.

The transmission has thick oil in it. Is that right? In Wisconsin should i run thinner oil? What oil should I run? Does universal trans hyd work in trans & hydraulic system?

It's not a front pump. Should I drain
transmison and run all the same? Loader is
slow, it gets run from rear remotes. Is
there a filter it's a 1968?
