Anyone out there have a book listing the static pump timing for a 6610s? This has a Lucas DPS pump with timing lock bolt. Am down
to the final stages of removal, all that's left is popping the gear off the shaft and removing the three pump mounting bolts. I'm
quite sure the engine is properly positioned since the bolt heads are in register with access holes in the gear and flywheel
timing marks are visible in the window. Just not sure what degree mark I should be looking for when the pump goes back on.

If I'm not mistaken, there should be an extra hole in the pump drive gear at 6:00.
You PIN the gear, lock the pump & pull the gear off..

I don't recall an extra hole in the gear as described, but then I wasn't looking for one. Got to a stopping point yesterday in need of the proper puller bolts to fit the threaded holes in the gear. I think I now have what I need so will take another stab at it today.

Okay, the pump is off. There is no timing hole in the gear. I backed the engine to the 30 degree mark which pretty much centered the mounting bolt heads with the holes through the gear. When the pump goes back on I can roll the engine forward to the proper mark(whatever that is) then tighten the gear onto the shaft.
