Hello,

I recently picked up a 1941 Massey 81, Serial 400707, with a goofy buzz-saw attackment on the front.

Now, I'm looking to get the manuals (I'd actually LOVE to be able to download them, instead of buying them) and the Parts Manuals I see for sale all are Form R298A (6M-846-S), which says it covers Serial Numbers 403,354 and up, which is not my tractor.
I see it says it replaces and makes void No. 48, R298, but, the serials have me a bit confused.
(Image attached...)

Is this still the correct manual?? I don't want to buy the wrong manual.

Any advice appreciated, including locations to download the .PDF if that's possible, too..
(None of the links I've found have actual usable .PDF manuals)

Well,

Doing even more searching, I found another strange twist.
It seems there is a more 'original' parts manual for the earlier 81 series.

It's MH Form R222A, Parts List 39A, can't quite make out the numbers at the bottom...
(Why can't they keep them in the same number order?? sheesh...)

Anyone have any clue if this is significantly different??

Thanks
