Thanks for the help on this forum. I was able to get one of my Case 1000 dozers running. I have a question for my other crawler.

The crawler i was able to get running had a speed advance master pump. The other crawler looks like it may be a few years older and the model numbers are different on the fuel pump. Here are the #'s on that pump:

DGV CL 437----7C 2000
127248 JD382F-234

My questions are; is this a speed advance pump? If it is not, will a speed advance pump still work on this crawler by changing the degrees on the engine?

Thanks for all the help!

Yes, it has the bolt on advance block like very early models used. Later housings have integral advance.

The one i was able to get running is a 1000 D. I found the tag at the back of the crawler under the fuel tank. The other is in a different location right now so i havn't been able to look it over. It has the controls on a tower between your legs like the 1000 D does so i'm guessing it's probly that as well.
