Ive had some issues with the hrdraulics on my Ford 800. Sometimes it does not work, and sometimes its slow. It always lifts up when im cranking it up. Today I was using it when I discovered the Tach / hydraulic guage hissing. I moved the cable around to stop the leak and the lift seemed to work good. The Hydro pump has a line that connects to the guage. Do you think this could be the issue with the lift?

"Tach / hydraulic guage"

Could you post a picture of that gauge?
My x00 series tractors do not have a hydraulic gauge
so I don't have an answer, but many things have been
changed/added over the years.

Well its a line off of the hydraulic pump so maybe its just for the pump? However its leaking at the guage so would this affect the lift?

Not likely unless it's leaking severely - Spewing out.

How recently was the hydraulic oil changed?

Cold weather exacerbates hydraulic problems.
