This last winter my friend passed away that had several JD 2 cyl tractors that I worked on with him. I also have several. I have photos for all his tractors but one of them. Of course his widow is now asking me what I think that one is worth. It's an unstyled B, about 1935 with flat spoke rear wheels and original (but poor) tires. The tractor was restored about fifteen years ago and has a second set of round spoke wheels and a new set of tires that go with it. The tractor is in very good condition. Anyone want to venture a guess as to what you think it might be worth?
Thanks,

From what I understand the flat spokes are cut offs and the round spoke would be what it should have if on rubber.
I own a 1935 JD-B on steel and have the original owners manual that came with it when new. Been in my family for 78 years now give or take a year or so. My mom put a price tag on it of $100,000 but it was her dads tractor so she know where it has ben since around 1940. I played on that tractor as a kid and so have my grand kids. |

Do some research on the round spoke wheels, they may be F&H brand. A few years ago they were worth $1,000 to $1,500 a pair. 36 inch rear tires are also expensive to replace now, maybe price them 50 to 75 percent of today's cost with inner tubes, maybe check new prices at Miller Tire and other tire dealers as well as local dealers. An older restoration 1935 B, prices are falling fast, could be well under $1,000 with poor tires. |

There's no B on earth that is worth anywhere near $100,000 |

Think about what was said. It has been in the family since 1940 |

If it was a BW-40 I bet it would bring more than $100K. |
