Any recommendations for a good clutch disc alignment tool? I have seen 2 sets by Lisle and 1 by OTC.

I'm worried about getting one that will actually work with this clutch.

Any way you can talk to the local high school wood shop instructor and have him make you one from a piece of wood with his lathe?

Neat idea, but we are too rural to have a High School in my town. The students get bussed over a few towns to the east.

I don't remember what I used on mine. I know on the bigger ones, the pilot bearing inside diameter is the same as the clutch spline diameter and I just use a deep well socket on those.

I've always slid the oliver clutch shaft and clutch disk on the flywheel first then bolted on the pressure plate. Never had any problems. Can anyone tell me why an alignment tool is needed? Just asking.
