I want to change the hydraulic filter and the hydraulic oil in a Moline 602. I know that a NAPA 1828 filter is correct, but I can not find the capacity of the hydraulic system. Can anybody steer me in the right direction? I feel that maybe, I might of contaminated the oil with a dirty remote cylinder.

To answer my own question, I put in 11 quarts in the hydraulics.

I do not know when they started but my M670 has a 3/4 inch tee and short pipe screwed in where the drain plug was on my M5s. One end of the tee had the plug in it and the other end has about a 6 in pipe, sticking up to check the level and fill the Hyd, Oil. I put a 45 deg street ell in the plug end to get the drain further away from the tractor body. The M670 has a dipstick for checking the oil level but you can sight along the seat base to tell when it is full. The early Tel-O-Flos you had to remove the plate with the rate and cycle levers to check for full.
