Ford 620 front pulley removal

I’ve got the front end removed from my 620 and I need to get off the front crank pulley but it won’t come off. I removed the four bolts and it spins freely but it won’t come off. I’ve heard other people have a big nut holding it on but I don’t have any big nut holding it on. Any ideas ?

Agree on no big nut as that's what the 4 bolts are for. Problem with heat is your front oil seal otherwise that would be the suggestion. However, having crankcase oil on the other side of the seal
might mitigate any possible damage due to heat.

Probably not adaptable to a regular puller.......might get something like a ?" piece of all thread, fabricate an adapter to chain, wrap chain around the accessible parts and after a thorough
penetrating oil soaking, try that for a puller with hammer taps as an aid.

The four bolts hold the pulley to the hub. The hub is bolted to the front of the crankshaft by a big nut. remove the big nut and remove the hub and pulley together to see why the two will not separate. Or perhaps you have a big slot headed bolt holding the hub!

there is like a flat circular piece of metal flush with pulley and in center of pulley that has some pattern on it. Is there some way to remove that

Not sure of the "metal flush with pulley with pattern" is or could be. But the hub has to be held to the crankshaft with something, attaching to the center of the crank as the crank has a threaded bolt hole in the center
