I picked up two hydraulic units over the weekend, both from 88 tractors. One of them has the aluminum base, one has a cast iron base. Is the cast iron base scarce/rare? This is the first one I have ever seen. Thanks for any information.

There is a serial number on the base. What are the 2 numbers? Is the one with the aluminum base a group three unit?

The cast iron base was likely used on one with out a filter. Later aluminum was used and a filter also used. It may be rare but I doubt it has any collector value.

Just checked for s/n on the cast iron base, looks like 9022 and has no filter. The aluminum base is s/n 24989 and has ik2002c on the tank with a filter. Thanks for all the help.
