For my 2015 F250 gas with helper springs(camper package), general use, pulling a 20' 10K tractor hauler.
Is the B&W hitch worth the extra $150 over the Curt(both appear to put the ball 3-4" forward of axle)?
Any other brands I should look at?
My dad put a Draw-tite in his twin to my truck and I am not thrilled with it, the ball is directly over the axle, and it didn't ride good until he put air bags on it. |

In my opinion the extra $150 for the ?B & W? setup is money
?well spent? |

RG, daughter works for a large trailer sales outfit and they install only the B@W hitches. Have them in my pick-ups. Ride is smooth when pulling empty or loaded. Have never bought a new one only used from salvage yards or Craigslist. |

I put a Curt in my Dodge 2500, seems to work fine, but took much longer to install than advertised, a second set of hands would
have been very helpful.

I installed a B&W in my 2001 Chevy. Never been sorry. It does locate the ball ahead of the axle. |

Unless the hitch mounts don't allow it
I always put the ball center 6" forward
of tire center. Nobody has complained
yet. |

I had a B & W in my 1996 dodge truck. Went in easy and worked fine. What ever you get go with a style that you can easily remove the ball ! mine was a flip over type. |

Have had both, currently have Curt. It is equally as good as the B&W in my opinion. Personally, I?d buy a Curt and save some $$ if I have to buy
another one again some day. |

I have had a B&W for 12 years. It is what most guys have when this topic comes up. It is on the once a year schedule. Probably guys buy them because the places that sell them make bigger profit than from Reese or Curt. |

B&W is USA made. Curt is made in China. |

Right from Their website:
"CURT is the leading manufacturer of USA-made hitches"
The couple Curt bar/ball combos I have are China??? |

we're talkin just a few dollars..for easy install, popular, all around good, get the b&w. ya want to look at super strong,, check out una-goose,,,
I like them a little more forward than what b&w puts them,, but,, then ya gotta go homemade, then that leaves the liability question wide open... |
